Mike has returned to the music circuit after a 16 year hiatus. His versatility is evident in the vast array of musical projects he has participated in. Rich Knox
Rich Knox

Richard Knox was born on the Pacific island of Guam, where he learned native Caribbean rhythms on his original instrument, the guava fruit. In addition to owning a lizard in his younger days, he is also a geography nut. At the ripe age of one, Rich left home and settled in NH where he had the great fortune of hooking up with bands such as The Classics Show Band, The Wicked Big Band, and Smokin' Toad. Somewhere in there was some touring with Boston's Stranger Than Pretty, soundtrack work, and countless jam nights and fill-in spots.

Rich attributes his knowledge of bass playing to the extraordinary musicians he's had the
opportunity to play with over the years. His recent musical goals include figuring out why
basses have more than 9 frets.
